A 2-station restroom trailer serves about 100 guests over a 5-hour event. A 3- or 4-station trailer serves about 150 to 200 guests. An 8- to 10-station trailer serves 300 to 450 guests. Add one station if a full bar runs for more than 4 hours.

What does a restroom trailer need on site?
A restroom trailer needs level ground, a clear path for a pickup truck and trailer, a standard 120-volt outlet within 100 feet, and a garden hose spigot within 100 feet. Without water or power, we bring a fresh-water tank and a quiet generator for an added charge.
- Access: about 10 feet wide and 13 feet high, free of low branches and wires.
- Ground: level within about a foot across the trailer. Soft lawns need dry weather or plywood pads.
- Power: a dedicated outlet, not one shared with a band or caterer.
- Water: a hose spigot that stays on all event. A fresh-water tank replaces it.
- Waste: the trailer holds its own waste tank. Multi-day events get a pump-out between days.

Restroom trailers for offices, shelters and long jobs
Restroom trailers also rent by the week or month for office remodels, school bathroom renovations, emergency shelters and construction trailers. Long-term trailers get scheduled pump-outs and cleanings, and winter rentals use heat tape and a heated interior. Weekly and monthly trailer rates cost less per day than event rates.

Does a restroom trailer need electricity?
A restroom trailer needs a 120-volt, 20-amp outlet within 100 feet for lights, the flush pump and climate control. Without an outlet, a generator is added. Large trailers need two circuits.
Does the trailer need a water hookup?
A garden hose spigot within 100 feet supplies the sinks and toilets. Without a spigot, we add a fresh-water tank and fill it before the event.
How far ahead should I book a restroom trailer?
Book 4 to 8 weeks ahead for weddings between May and October. Fall Saturdays fill first. Weekday office and emergency rentals can often go out within 1 to 3 days.
Can the trailer be placed on grass?
The trailer can sit on firm, dry grass if it is level and the truck can reach it without crossing soft ground. After heavy rain, we may place it on the driveway instead.
Is there air conditioning?
Restroom trailers have climate control: air conditioning for summer and heat for cold months. That is the main comfort difference from a porta potty.
Can you clean the trailer during a multi-day event?
A between-day service visit pumps the waste tank, refills water and paper, and cleans each station. An attendant can stay on site for large galas.
